CHILI COMPETITION

Calling all cooks! Bring your homemade chili in a crockpot and compete for Best Appearance, Best Overall, and Best Afterburn.
All members will sample the entries and vote for the winners.

WHAT TO BRING

Your award-winning chili (in a crockpot)
A side dish or appetizer to share
A pan of cornbread to accompany the chili

FUN & GAMES

Cash bar available
50/50 Drawing

NAUTICAL AUCTION

For bids on auction items, bring cash, checks, credit cards, or debit cards, we’ll happily take them all

Members: Free
Guests: $15.00 per person

REGISTRATION

Maximum attendance is 80 members.
Registration closes the day before the event, Friday, November 20, 2026 at midnight.
Members are requested to register and pay online.

IMPORTANT FOR CONTEST ENTRANTS:

When registering, please indicate if you plan to enter a chili in the competition. This helps us determine how many electrical outlets are needed for crockpots.

DBC's 69th Annual Lighted Holiday Boat Parade 2026 (12/05/2026)

Join us for our 69th Annual Lighted Holiday Boat Parade

After a two-year break following the 2024 hurricanes, the Dunedin Lighted Holiday Boat Parade is back and might be your most fun night on the water all season. Pull out the lights, decorate your boat, and run the ICW after dark with a fleet of fellow boaters. Santa rides in on the last boat, so stick around for the finish.

Important Notes:

PARTICIPATION: This event is open to all boaters (Members and Non-Members). Registration is required to participate, as is your attendance at the Mandatory Skipper's Meeting on December 2nd. You will need to have a ship-to-shore (VHF) radio onboard (fixed or portable) for communications with the Parade Master.
REGISTRATION:
- REGISTRATION STARTS: November 3, 2026
- REGISTRATION ENDS: December 1, 2026 at Midnight
- TO REGISTER: Click on the blue "Register" button on this page.
  NOTE: The "Register" button will no longer appear once registration is closed.
FEES: There is no fee to register and participate. However, there is a limited number of registrations available. If you register, please plan to participate.
MAXIMUM PARTICIPANTS: 40 boats
STAGING LOCATION & TIME: The parade will begin staging inside Marker 1 Marina, starting at 4:30 PM
STARTING LOCATION & ROUTE: The parade will start at Marker 1 Marina, head west to the ICW and follow the ICW South to the Dunedin/Clearwater border. At the Dunedin/Clearwater border, turn around heading North, and proceed into the City of Dunedin Marina.
ENDING LOCATION: The parade will conclude at the City of Dunedin Marina.
START TIME: The parade will leave from the basin at Marker 1 Marina starting at 6:00 PM.
SKIPPER'S INSTRUCTIONS: Skipper's Instructions for the parade will be provided within your registration confirmation email.
MANDATORY SKIPPER'S MEETING: The Skipper's meeting for the parade will be at the Dunedin Community Center on Wednesday, December 2nd at 6:30 PM. The address is: 1920 Pinehurst Rd., Dunedin, FL 34698
JUDGING LOCATION: The judging will be conducted as you pass through the channel opening coming into the City of Dunedin Marina.
WAIVER: Skippers are required to read and agree to a waiver during registration. Acceptance of the waiver is a requirement to participate in the Lighted Boat Parade.
NO POLITICAL DECORATIONS: We ask that boat decorations DO NOT contain politically related messages.
NO SANTA COSTUMES: So we don't confuse the kids, we ask that boat decorations and crew DO NOT contain a likeness of Santa, as the real Santa will be arriving on the last boat.

Join us to celebrate 2026 and install our 2027 Bridge and Board.

The Dunedin Boat Club's annual Change of Watch is an evening to recognize and thank our outgoing Bridge and Board, welcome our newly elected leadership for 2027, and celebrate the contributions of our members. Annual awards, including "Member of the Year," will also be presented. Enjoy an evening of great food, camaraderie, and a fun evening with your fellow Dunedin Boat Club friends.

Attendance is limited to DBC members and their invited guests. Each adult DBC member may register up to two guests.
Reservations will be limited to 200 people.

- Chicken with starch and vegetable
- Salmon Filet with starch and vegetable
- Vegetarian Option with starch and vegetable
