Charitable Giving & Community support

The Dunedin Boat Club has a 90+ year track record of giving back to the boating community and our local community of Dunedin, Florida.  For us, community involvement is meaningful, consistent participation in activities that support and improve our members' lives and the lives of those living in our local community.

Below you will find information on short-term charitable initiatives we are supporting, plus youth and community organizations where we provide ongoing support.

Charitable & The Holidays

To wrap up the year, we are supporting Dunedin Cares and their Holiday Food & Toy Drive.  This year, while you are shopping for Thanksgiving dinner, or just your weekly shopping, please pick up some non-perishable food for our local families in need.  While you are looking at toys for your children or grandchildren, consider adding an extra item to your cart for those children who’s parents cannot afford toys this year.  Dunedin Cares provides great support for families in our community and we support them.

We will be accepting food and toys at the Dunedin Boat Club every Friday from November 19th through December 10th.  We will be at the Clubhouse on Fridays, from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.  Additionally, the Ship’s Store will be open Friday November 19th and Friday December 10th starting at 5:30 PM.  In not familiar with where our Clubhouse is located, click here to see a map and directions.

Not sure what to buy?  Check out the Dunedin Cares Amazon Wish List, to see what foods they most need.

Come over, enjoy the sunset, and help us help families in need.
