Launch: There is a kayak launch and wash station 100 F. or so down the paved path.
What to bring: Bring snacks, drinks, cover up, sun screen, and bug repellant.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Lunch in Tarpon afterwards is an option for those who are interested.
