How to Securely Anchor Your Boat

Please join us for the April 2023 meeting of the DBC Cruising Group!  

WORTH NOTING:  Our Cruising Group now includes ALL boaters including both those interested in Day Trips and Overnight Cruises.

Who Should Attend:

All members who have a power or sail boat, including rental or time share programs, or any member interested in boating activities are encouraged to attend. 

Cruising Group Focus:

The Group's focus is planning on the water activities for both power boaters and sail boaters.  We plan to have at least one club organized day-cruise and/or one club organized overnight cruise each month.  In addition, we want to encourage members to organize their own "Impromptu" boating events.  

We also plan to have a regularly scheduled meeting on the last Monday of each month.  Meetings will alternate between a short presentation at the clubhouse and "Happy Hour" events at a local restaurant.

Agenda for this meeting:

• Review the planned club organized boating events for the upcoming year. 
• A short presentation on the best practices for Anchoring your boat.
• Discuss topics of interest for future presentations
• Informal discussion on Anchoring or any other Boating Activity topics of interest.
