Our monthly General Membership Meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 7:00pm, is for all DBC members and for folks who are interested in joining the Dunedin Boat Club.

Repairing and leveling the clubhouse project.
We need membership approval, according to our By-Laws, to spend over $500.00 for items not already approved on our budget and this is over $500.00
Rod Collman. a longtime boat club member and well-known and respected architect in Dunedin, has provided an estimated $30,000 project bid to complete clubhouse modifications to level the floor and reinforce the building foundation. He anticipates this project can be completed before year-end. As this project will require funds from the Capital Improvement Fund to be expensed, the membership must approve this expenditure. This motion has been approved by your Board to forward this request to the membership at our Monday night General meeting.
Estimate Details:
o $25,000 Materials and Labor
o $2,400 Drawings
o $2,600 Contingency
I will request a motion from the floor to approve the $30,000 to get the Historic Dunedin Boat Club Clubhouse leveled at our usual Monday night meeting. If you have questions, please call or ask me or other Board members. Payouts on the $30,000 will be approved by the board for each section of the project as they are completed.
