This will be a nighttime paddle on a Monday night. We'll launch during the evening hours and kayak along the shoreline. After it gets dark, we'll search for bioluminescence. Not guaranteed, but it will be fun to search.
This is the second one (first, July 23) because cancellations are common due to weather and you never know if there will be bioluminescence in the water. Both events are scheduled and will take place as long as weather permits.
Rentals: There are no local rentals available. I did talk to Tocobago kayak rentals and they provide separate tours and kayaks for small groups at the Safety Harbor Marina. (727) 389-8687 Their tours start at 9 and cost $50 per person. However, they will not rent out a kayak in the evening without going on their tour.
