Help build this year’s Mardi Gras float!


Our float this year is a Viking longboat.


You don't need to sign up, just show up.

Work Session #4

The work plan details:

  • Group #1
    • Cut old coroplast into strips to make waves.
    • Paint coroplast waves blue and white.
    • Secure paddles to poles with gorilla glue and cable ties.
  • Group #2
    • Finish framing the bow.
    • Add coroplast panels.

What to bring:

  • Power tools, jigsaws and circular saws.
  • Saw horses and plywood to use as table tops. 
  • Sturdy scissors and pencils.
  • Brushes and gloves for painting.
  • Saw horses and ladders.
  • Ropes you can donate.
  • Don't forget drinks, snacks, sunscreen, work gloves, and a desire to have fun with other DBC members.

    • Date & Time: Saturday, Jan. 24, 10:00am – 1:00pm.
    • Address: Terry and Liza Hopkins' driveway at 200 Cevera Drive in Dunedin.
    • Attendees: DBC members and prospective members.
